OASIS 'Ocean Air Shipping Information System'
This module profiles all parties to any given export transaction i.e.: Shipper, Consignee, Carrier, Notify Party and so on. It captures in addition to address & contact information, phone, e-mail, credit limit and other pertinent information that is automatically utilized and passed on to other OASIS modules, such as Export Documentation and Reporting modules. It will also pass pertinent information to optional modules such as Warehousing, Air & Ocean Consolidation, Domestic Air Freight, Inbound De Consolidation, Purchasing, Accounting and other modules, which may be purchased and added at any time.
Detailed 'Request For Quotation' and Booking entry screens allow for the entry, recall and reporting of shipment transactions. These act as Transaction Profiles which can be activated through a rich and intuitive user interface. For example the user defines a transaction as:
and other information. Once a quote is activated or a shipment booked, the system passes all previously entered information into it's documentation modules. If number of pieces, weight, cube and so on is modified, OASIS automatically recalculates and re displays the information eradicating clerical mistakes. Transaction ProcessingMultiple sort and access options allow system users to retrieve any previously entered information in an efficient manner. These include but are not limited to client name, booking number, file reference number, carrier name, etc.
Over 18,000 schedules such as Schedule B. Number file (Harmonized Code); Air Freight; Country Codes; Destination ports; K origin codes; IATA 3 digit World Airports; Currency codes are fully integrated into OASIS, making obsolete the need to periodically purchase these reference libraries. Documentation ModuleOASIS has one of the most advanced documentation engines in the industry. OASIS generates most of it's own documentation as Laser Forms, eradicating the need and expense of purchasing a multitude of exporting forms. Many forms incorporate your companies logo when appropriate as well as the attractive design with line drawing and shading of the appropriate form body. All that is required is a Laser or Ink Jet printer such as HP IV, V of inkjet printer such as HP1000, HP1200 or hundreds of other affordable models, such as from Epson, Okidata & Brother. The only forms that may need to be purchased are the AWB (OASIS is formatted specifically to Apperson Business Forms 11" & 12" double six part AWB form) and \ or a Master Bill Of Lading if you wish to utilize a dot matrix format and you require this form to be on continuous, multiple part, pin fed type paper. OASIS however provides an attractively designed laser NVO OBL. Otherwise, OASIS produces all forms which include ( but not limited to )the following:

An advanced capability of the OASIS system is it's Multiple Document Processing capability. This is available for any OASIS produced document and in essence allows you to split a shipment transaction into multiple mini transactions i.e.: Shipper Export Declaration, Bill Of Lading or Dock Receipt. Report ModuleOASIS harnesses the power of it's profiling and documentation modules and parlays on this strength with a rich user interface and multiple, user selectable profiling and sort criteria. All OASIS generated documentation and reports are displayed as previews prior to being able to be routed to fax boards, printers or MAPI compatible e-mail systems. Additionally, OASIS allows you export any report as .CSV or 'Comma Delimited' format files which are suitable for viewing in spreadsheet systems such as Lotus123 or Excel. These may also be e-mailed to clients or agents, if required. Maintenance ModuleUser defined Automated Number Sequences; Invoice Charge Codes; Specific Document Printer routing; Destination Control Statements; Company Consolidation Tariff's and many system control sequences are maintained through the options available in this module.
