CRAIGSLIST.ORG CHECK SCAM NOTICE.

If you reached this page it is because most probably you responded to an advertisement from http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites trying to seek employment. You also received a check from someone or a group of scam artists who then directed you to either cash a check which is fictitious (fake) with our company name. We have had reports that this scam is ongoing and nationwide. We have called each and every person who has contacted us since May of this year but are unable to do so anymore. If you where smart enough to place an advertisement you where smart enough to reach this page and hopefully this explanation and links below are helpful.

Our company is a victim just like you are. DO NOT CASH this check. Rather contact your local police department or the FBI and report this crime. It would be helpful if you can then supply appropriate law enforcement agency with:

  • copy of the check you received
  • any Fedex / UPS / mailer envelope containing the check(s)
  • link to the craigslist.org advertisement you responded too
  • any contact / email information from the person(s) who contacted you
